I started my blog way back when my now 20 month old daughter was born as a way to share our life with my family and my husband’s family. We are military and as such tend to live far from our parents and siblings. I have a M.Ed. in Early Childhood Ed, and taught in pre school classrooms for a number of years, so why not share my knowledge of best practices for young children with the public while sharing our day to day life with loved ones?

Daily activities like art projects based on early child development are a regular occurrence here!

While blogging and being mom to Baby E, I was also working my Mary Kay business as a Beauty Consultant. As a mom my perspective on life changed, as did my perspective on my clients’ lives. And then it hit me. Moms, every mom, in all walks of life, want and need to feel their best. I had the skills to teach them how to achieve their beauty and style goals, and the knowledge to show them how they could get those few precious moments to themselves each and every day with simple life changes.

And with that, the new http://www.meandbabye.com was born in February 2014!

Any mom, and I mean any, can rock their favorite styles, even over the knee boots!

I love that I’m not alone in my desire for there to be Five Minutes for Mom for every mom, every day, and I’m excited for the party to start! See you there!

XOXOXO – Olivia

  1. I really should be doing more art projects with my 20 month old….I bet she would love it! What’s your favorite one to do?

I’m stopping by from the UBP! Hope you have a great weekend:)

    • Thanks for stopping by! I love the really messy, hands on ones, as they get the sensory and the creative play. The ones that have an “end”, like a flower, butterfly, etc are great to have hanging up on display. E will point to her flowers and butterflies on the art wall when she sees one in a book, etc. It’s very sweet and she likes to show off proudly what she made!

  2. Stopping by for UBP14! Can’t wait to read more… as a mom of a teenager, I always need advice and tips on how to feel my best! Have a wonderful weekend!
